Stacey Castiglia
LCMHCA
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) (#A17562) in the state of North Carolina and I earned my Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University. I have been with Robin Forgione Counseling and Associates since January 2020. I have experience working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with a wide range of mental health issues including grief, trauma, relationship and family issues, disordered eating, body image issues, depression, and anxiety. I have advanced training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Post Partum Support International.
I take a tailored approach using a combination of cognitive behavioral, narrative, solution-focused, and acceptance & commitment therapies to assist individuals in their journey toward mental wellness. My work focuses on helping clients break the cycle of unhelpful thought patterns to develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and experiencing life. This involves empowering clients to see themselves as experts in their own lives and guiding them to their own solutions. As part of this process, clients gain self-knowledge, insight, and perspective into their problems. I also help clients see how physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors affect overall wellness, and use a variety of relaxation techniques to help them achieve greater peace, calm, and present-mindedness.
